Undelete function not working properly?

The Undelete function provided by ASC after installation does not seem to work correctly!! It displays the names of the files deleted permanently but when restores them the files become totally corrupted and hence cannot be read!!

Is there a way around this problem? If not I would request ASC to remove this feature from the next release so that the users do not fall for false hope!!

(I am a pro version user. So I don't think the license for the program has to do anything with my problem.)
