Need to keep approving file

Recommended Posts

We are testing your software to use. I have a remote computer and when I do a logmein it ask them to allow that file which is logmein.exe to run and then we click on to remember this file. The problem is each time that program needs to run it is downloaded from logmein to different temp dir each time so it keeps asking to approve that file because it is the same name but being run from a different location each time. Is there a way to add that file as approve just by the name and not the name & location.

Thanks

Hi healthback, welcome to IObit Forum! :-D

Did you try the CREDIT option on the pop-up window when you approve the process?

Perhaps you can manually add the process in remember.ini file @ C:\Users\UserNAme\AppData\Roaming\IObit\IObit Malware Fighter folder.

It's worth reading Why is there no Explanation of the IMF pop-up? thread about the content of IMF pop-up.

It is a bit of a guess, but I would try to add logmein.exe without a path in remember.ini file

The below is the example content of such a file.

[version]

version=1.1

[data]

1=C:\PROGRAM FILES\ANTILOGGER\INSHLPR.EXE

2=C:\PROGRAM FILES\SANDBOXIE\SBIECTRL.EXE

3=C:\PROGRAM FILES\CCLEANER\CCLEANER.EXE

[style]

1=CREDIT

2=REGISTRY

3=CREDIT

[block]

1=0

2=0

3=0

Cheers.
