IMF - Web Pages Won't Display

Recommended Posts

When I try to sign-in to Windows Live Hotmail, I put in my username and password then click sign in, and then I get a page that pops up that says:

Bad Request - Invalid Verb

-----------------------------------------

HTTP Error 400. The request verb is invalid.

And that's all I see. I tried disabling each of my security software, etc. one after the other, and it went away when I disabled IMF. The email works fine when it's disabled. When IMF is re-enabled, whatever Hotmail page I'm on (Inbox, Home) it will display that page.

This also happens on some other random web pages as well..

Why does this happen and what can I do to prevent it from happening in the future?

Hi AGorrila,

Please check remember.ini file @ C:\Users\UserNAme\AppData\Roaming\IObit\IObit Malware Fighter

if it contains anything related.

If yes, change 1 (one) to 0 (zero) after = (equal sign) under [block] for the related items. Edited to change the mistake: 1 (one)'s and 0 (zero)'s places.

If there comes a pop-up message from IMF after this in future, you have to allow those.

Cheers.

Hello

So change all the zeros that I see from O to 1?

So if it looks like this before:

[version]

version=1.1

[data]

1=C:\PROGRAM FILES (X86)\TUNEUP UTILITIES 2012\TUNEUPUTILITIESSERVICE64.EXE

2=C:\PROGRAM FILES (X86)\MALWAREBYTES' ANTI-MALWARE\MBAM.EXE

[style]

1=REGISTRY

2=REGISTRY

[block]

1=0

2=0

________________________________________________________________

Should I make it look like this after?:

[version]

version=1.1

[data]

1=C:\PROGRAM FILES (X86)\TUNEUP UTILITIES 2012\TUNEUPUTILITIESSERVICE64.EXE

2=C:\PROGRAM FILES (X86)\MALWAREBYTES' ANTI-MALWARE\MBAM.EXE

[style]

1=REGISTRY

2=REGISTRY

[block]

1=1

2=1

Thank you very much!

I am so sorry that I made a mistake, it should have been vice-versa.

You should change it to 0 (zero) if it were 1 (one).

You can also click CREDIT for allowance on the IMF pop-up window.

I have edited my prior post for correction.

Cheers.

That's alright don't worry about it! I just don't understand what to do. Is this what the writing in the file should look like?:

[version]

version=1.1

[data]

1=C:\PROGRAM FILES (X86)\TUNEUP UTILITIES 2012\TUNEUPUTILITIESSERVICE64.EXE

2=C:\PROGRAM FILES (X86)\MALWAREBYTES' ANTI-MALWARE\MBAM.EXE

[style]

1=REGISTRY

2=REGISTRY

[block]

1=0

2=0

Thanks!
