B) With reinstalling ASC, program's setting will be kept (Installing the new version, where it automatically uninstalls the old version.), but if I understand your question correctly, the OS's original system settings will not be as before the first repair of the previous version. You can try the Windows' Restore function choosing a restore point prior to the installation of ASC. (Your first ASC.) Please read USAGE of IOBIT PRODUCTS thread in Lounge section.
