How to select 'Tab Groups' Firefox?

Hi I've checked 'the how to' on how to use 'Tab Groups' in Firefox but I just can't see anything to select saying 'Tab Groups'? I didn't think I needed an extension? Do I ?

 

OS is Vista, Firefox 14.0.1

It won't work unless you do this

If you don't already have a number of tabs open to work with, do it now.

Hi appreciated..........I had the same problem on laptop with win 7. Someone said you could click on 'customise' & drag 'Tab Group' icon to where you like. This did work. Its just a shame now the tab groups can't be saved more permanent than just from a previous session?
