Defrag and Optimize link does not work

just downloaded the Smart Degrag software, and it will analyze but will not allow me to defrag. are there any reported issues with this program that would cause this, and if so, what should be done to correct it.

Was it SmartDefrag 1.0 you downloaded?

Did you have an older version installed beforehand?

What is the setup on your machine? OS (Operating System) and so on?

Please elaborate some. Your problem can have multiple causes, almost all of them related to your own machine, how much free space, - was it an upgrade of smartdefrag you installed, - did you do a clean install and so on.
