Printer Software Corrupted

Greetings: I have a computer at work that runs Windows Vista 32 bit. The computer is host to a HP Laserjet 1536 Multifunction machine. Since the installation of ASC 6 Professional, every time I scan and repair the computer using ASC 6 Pro, I have to uninstall and reinstall the printer software to get it to print or scan.

 

This never happened using v5 Pro.

 

Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

Hi st_worm

My guess is that it is from the optimize function.

If it is you should take a look at the "problems" the optimize scan generates and then right click the "problems" you need to keep running and choose to place them in the ignore list.

By the way isn't it enough to go into services.msc in Run and activate the relevant setting(s) there instead of re-installing HP?

You should not use automatic functions before you have configured all your settings to your satisfaction!
