how do I uninstall IObit AWC

Hi'

 

I wanted in install the new version of AWC personal. I had the older one 1.8 and I thought I had better uninstall it before installing the new one. I'[ve uninstalled all the files except MemCleaner.exe which is sitting in the yellow folder in common programs. I get a message that it is write protected and make sure the disk is not full. I can't install the new one because that folder is still there, it won't let me.

What can I do. I've rebooted when I deleted the other files thinking thelast folder would go but no.

Please help.

I've managed to uninstall the folder and installed the new version, I have the old version on my other computer and want to install the new one so do I install it over the old version, I don't want to get into the same trouble so please advise me.

Hi Joan

You probably had memcleaner running in the background, and shown in the system tray, please close the application before uninstalling, the program cannot uninstall running programs.

Thank you for responding I will do that and uninstall it from my other computer.The new version is working now on this computer now
