How to update?

Hi using v2.6 & would like to update, can't see an option within program? Used to be an option 'bottom right'

Please use the link in Smart Defrag 2.7 is available! thread to download setup file for Smart Defrag 2.7, and then you can install on top of SD 2.6.

Hi thx have updated, so still no where for checking for latest updates within program?

Actually it is still in the bottom right - only now it is called "more free from IObit" - there you can also find the download link to SD 2.7 and will be sent to the MajorGeek site to download. :-)

(The program doesn't have to update very often - it is after all just a defragmentation tool)

Well, AutoUpdate.exe is scheduled automatically for SmartDefragUpdate to run at log on of any user by default.

 

A shortcut of AutoUpdate.exe on the desktop or at a convenient location can be used to manually update.

 

Personally, I have disabled the scheduled update and use it directly from Smart Defrag folder on demand.

Add a option for update the program and not go here(http://hostr.co/file/4kfTYYDfP0WM/AutoUpdate.png) ?

The program will be more easy for do updates :)
