wich firewall works with ascu i have tried commodo and zonealarm i they both screwed up the computer ascu said that the windows firewall was off so i don't think that was the problem (that i had 2 firewalls at the same time)

I do use ZoneAlarm Free (only firewall) together with ASCU even with Windows 8 and there is no problem at all.

 

Install ASCU6 (6.0.8.289) first and then Zone Alarm Free (only Firewall - no Antivirus) (11.0.000.020).

 

You should use only 1 firewall, and ZA closes Windows Firewall automatically.

I have no problems running Comodo firewall and ASCU. Perhaps the problem is elsewhere?

 

You certainly shouldn't attempt to run more then one firewall at a time as it is unnecessary and will only consume system resources. Please describe your machine completely as Enoskype requests.

I've reinstalled comodo one more time and now its working something must have gone wrong the first time. this time just to be safe i turned off the windows firewall manually before i installed comodo
