Integration of newer programs; and release timeframe. . .

When IObit releases a more recent version of one of their programs (say, Smart Defrag, or Uninstaller, or . . .) how long does it usually take for IObit's Advanced SystemCare suites to be updated (with those new versions integrated) so that they too will be using the most recent version of the product in question (Smart Defrag, Uninstaller, etc.)?

Thanks in advance.

regards,

Laurence

Ususaly next update of ASC/ASCU includes the most recent Toolbox programs.

Please note that IObit malware Fighter, Smart Defrag, IObit Unlocker, and Game Booster are stand alone programs only linked from Toolbox. IObit Uninstaller is a stand alone program, but also separately included in ASC/ASCU.

Cheers.

Hi there,

Thank you enoskype.

Then all programs that ASC uses are integrated and/or have dependencies on other files and can only be evoked through ASC? (Which I presume includes the Uninstaller that ASC includes and calls into action?)

regards,

Laurence

Hi Laurence! (Welcome here!!),

It is true that some of the functions of ASC don't employ all the full power that stand-alone versions of their softwares do. This is due to development and marketability as far as I can see. It is virtually impossible to create the total full powered "(all-in-one)" across such diverse systems (OS, Prosessor, Memory. etc.) Thus it is necessary to remove the more powerful tools to allow the user to configure them... thus the more powerful tools are found in the toolbox.

Be careful if you choose to use them!

To answer your question...

The defragmenter within ASC is not SmartDefrag...

The Malware scanner within ASC is not Iobit Malware Fighter...

Sincerely,

-Mel

Live long and prosper!
