problem w/ ASC6!!

Recommended Posts

Whenever I try to open ASC6, a dialogue box pops up which says: The file "ASC.exe" seems to be corrupt!

Right after that, another dialogue box pops up which says: Advanced SystemCare 6 has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

What does this mean? And how can I fix it? Thanks!!

Welcome

Welcome to the forum

Is this message appearing after the first time install of Advanced SystemCare or was Advanced SystemCare already installed and the message just started appearing ?

Try this:

If this is a first time install of Advanced SystemCare

The installation might not have worked properly

Don't uninstall Advanced SystemCare, install Advanced SystemCare again over the top of the current copy

If that doesn't fix the problem the Advanced SystemCare installer you downloaded might be corrupt.

• Uninstall Advanced SystemCare

• If you have a copy of the Advanced SystemCare installer you downloaded on your computer delete it

• Download a new copy Advanced SystemCare @ MajorGeeks Make sure the download is not interrupted, if you are using a download manager/accelerator turn it off while downloading.

• Install the new copy of Advanced SystemCare as usual

If Advanced SystemCare was already installed and the message just started appearing

Don't uninstall Advanced SystemCare, install Advanced SystemCare again over the top of the current copy

If that doesn't fix the problem please do a Clean Uninstall & Install

See This Post for details.
