Free edition v 3.0 will scan but not repair

I wanted to try the new version but installing it ripped out the old one and now AWC 3.0 will scan but not repair without a licence

 

I guess this has been raised before

Hi Phynbarr-you probably had the app, running in the background when you proceeded with the upgrade-tear it all out(uninstall from Win add/remove)then search for left-overs and delete manually-then go to fresh install-ALWAYS make sure that any utility that you are trying to uninstall or upgrade(which requires an uninstall as part of the process)is disabled before the attempt-hope this helps
