[question]AWC3-autocare

ANURAAG

using auto-care

ANURAAG- It is not necessary for ASC to run at start up for auto-care to function-Select "run when system is idle" from the options/auto care menu-there is no CPU value assigned here,so the definition of "idle" is unknown-(probably 2%-5%CPU) It does however work on my OS, but I only activated it as a test to provide feedback to the forum.I normally do not subscribe to auto functions,as I am more "hands on" with my system. If you would like,from the auto-care menu,click the radio button "perform care at a scheduled time"and then click the "change schedule" box, and you will get a window from which you can fine tune the auto care utility (one little oddity I noticed here,was that window flies as AWC Auto Care) but is fully functional-AWC was the name of this utility before it became ASC-hope this answers your question
