Can't update ASC 3.1

Hi,

 

I just install the Advanced System Care, version RC 3.1.

 

Before start using, I try to update, but I can't.

 

When I click in the Check For Update, a new window informs that I need to download a Database File with 370.23KB.

 

But, when I click in the DONWLOAD NOW button, appears this error message:

 

"Access violation at address 00491815 in module 'IObitUpdate.exe'. Read of address 00000000."

 

What I need to do to update the ASC 3.1?

Hi xio69-Do you mean version 3.01? That is the latest release.When you open ASC to use it,what version is listed at the top of the GUI(graphic user interface)or home window?Please type exactly what the version is when you reply.

Sorry,my fault-I run the Pro version who's latest release is 3.01-I checked the news and offers section and 3.1 was the last release listed there-sorry I can't be of more help,but stay tuned as one of the Admins will be able to clear that up for you-best of luck

Hi uxio69,

 

Go to this thread in the News & Offer section.

Download ASC 3.01 (asc-setup.exe) from the links there. It is the most recent version.

 

FREE or Pro, it does not matter, there is one setup file for both.

 

If you have problems, please post back.
