Problems after ASC V3.0

After updating to v3, I ran the program then decided to run a disk cleaner utility. Since all this, my browser will not connect to the Internet and I cannot send/receive e-mails. How can I fix this? What settings did the cleaner wipe out?

Hi Flashjumper-ASC should have created a restore point before any registry fixes-you can undo those from there-open ASC,click Admin Tools,then restore center.As for the disk cleaner,did you choose to back up and delete, permanently delete files, or send them to the recycle bin? I ask because I am not sure if the ASC restore will help you there-you would also have the option of a complete Windows system restore-hope that helps, and best of luck

try and reset the browser if restore will not work [remember to disable security av / firewall during restore] and turn on afterwards.

 

to restore browser

goto tools in ie7

internet options

adv tab

press reset option
