Just installed Smart Defrag, and it crashes constantly

I just installed Smart Defrag, and while it looks to be a good program, it constantly freezes every 3-5 minutes. It just doesn't respond, and I have to close it. I checked the IObit SmartDefrag directory in the program files, and there is no bugreport.txt. Has anyone had a similar problem? I haven't had a problem with a program freezes up like this before.

My Specs:

 

Windows Vista Home Premium

Intel Pentium Dual T2370 1.73 Ghz

3 GB of RAM

 

If more information is needed I can supply it.

What are your settings?

Have you something running in the background? Automatic defrag perhaps?

Do you have many large picture/video files?

How much free space? How large disc?

Which kind of defrag did you attempt? (D&O)?
