deleted files (to recycle bin) permanently lost?

When I delete files, they are no longer showing up in the recycle bin, are they being permenently lost? Can this be turned off? Thanks!

Right-click the recycle bin and select properties. If "Use one setting for all drives" is selected on the General tab, uncheck "Do not move files to recycle bin." If "Configure drives independently" is selected, uncheck "Do not move files to recycle bin" for each drive/tab.

 

Double-check the suggested repairs the next time you use ASC and see if you can find where it's making the changes. If you can find it you can put it in the ignore list.

As far as I remember there is an option in Sweep to deselect the recycle bin from the sweep.
