Corrupt file

Hello,

I have been using SmartDefrag for a while, but this is the first time I have seen the following message:

 

A little yellow triangle with a ! in it pops up in the taskbar tray and says: IOBit SmartDefrag.exe:- corrupt file.

 

Is this a corrupt program file or is it a corrupt file that SmartDefrag is trying to scan?

Does the defragmentation work?

My guess is that a clean uninstall and install will solve the problem.

Hello,

Yes, the de fragmentation works perfectly.

 

Unfortunately, due to an upgrade to my system, I cannot test any theories as the software has been removed for now.
