Just Upgraded

Hi there,

I just upgraded to the paid version, but now it pointed me to this "smart defrag" inside the options, then took me to a page (I have partitions), but I thought the Advanced System Care already took care of defraging.

Thanks

Hi ep

Yes it does, but it only defrags, while the standalone (free) SmartDefrag also optimizes if you choose that option.

Hi Michelle

Try it out :-)

Not too many MB and easy to uninstall if you decide that the ordinary defrag is sufficient.

Please read the thread Usage of IObit Products in the Lounge section.

Thank you

I know what optimizes means for graphics, what does it mean for my PC?

So I should have both on my computer then?

Ok, I DLed it & a few things:

1. I can't schedule the deep optimizer as well as the defrag, is this correct?

2. I still don't know what optimization means, can someone please explain.

3. I went to your thread & it just loops around in circles. The only reference to the smart defrag was how to move it. I don't care about moving it, I care about setting it up properly so I don't have to concern myself with remembering to defrag.

Please let me know.

Thanks

Hi ep

Try scheduling the fast optimize in the schedule you choose

But as I say in the thread the scheduling is not fully functional only some options are available.

I do not understand when you say it loops around in circles:

This one is enoskype's "Thinking about defragmentation"

http://forums.iobit.com/showthread.php?p=11683#post11683

and this one is my description of the functions in SmartDefrag

(I have my viewing set to newest first - if that is the issue, but I have now changed the links, so that you should be able to go to the post without further input from you)

Sorry for the inconvenience!

Ok, another issue, so the Advanced Care System may not be for me.

I think it's deleting my history every day so when I go to frequent sites, the URL isn't in my history.

That & I think it also changed my font size for my entire computer.

These are things I didn't want to happen.
