Upgrade Problems ASC 3.3.1

Operating System Windows Vista 32 Business.

 

Hi I tried to update to ASC Free 3.3.1 but the program will not start once installed. I tried downloading a new copy of the installer and re-installing with the same result. In the end I had to use Windows Restore to revert to the previous version, which at least works.

 

Has anyone any suggestions?

Hi JohnW

It mostly sounds like some firewall/security is blocking the program.

Best way to install is to download to a folder or to desktop and remove the blocking before installing.

Thanks Solbjerg, I turned off Defense+ in Comodo before downloading and installing and it worked a dream.
