Hi, everyone,

 

I recently bought a small SSK USB external card-reader through TradeMe and it works very well. I have it connected via a short USB cable and would like to leave it permanently connected. The only problem is that when I've clicked the "Safe to Remove Hardware" box and switched it off I can't switch it on again without disconnecting and re-connecting. Should I just leave it switched on or disconnect altogether? Maybe my XP has a USB switch I don't know about?
