ASC removing ExpressVPN's "ExpressVPN System Service" from Windows 10 Services (Servies.msc)

Anyone having a problem with Advance SystemCare keeps deleting "ExpressVPN System Service" from Windows 10 Services (Servies.msc).   I've  checked ignore on every ExpressVPN alert as well as did that in Advanced SystemCare (ASC) program.  I reinstalled ASC and updated to the latest version 15.5.0.262, but every time I do a full scan it removes it from Windows Services or it will remove it after a week (I have ASC setup to scan when booting into Windows).  I uninstalled ASC for 3 weeks and used CCleaner I don't have any issues, so if there is no fix for ASC then I will be forced to stop using ASC after all these years and go with CCleaner or something just as good.  Thanks

Hi there,

Sorry for the issue you encountered.

Please follow the steps below to send us the debug file via the email feedback@iobit.com so that we can further check the issue.

Download the tool from http://testdemo.iobit.com/InfoHelper.exe. Then double click to run this tool on the PC with the problem and click "Save report". After it finishes, you will get a pop-up window to tell you where the report file IObit_Debug_Info.zip is saved. Click the "OK" button to open that saved folder. Please send the zipped file to us.

Thank you.

Hello,

Thanks for replying.  I ran it twice.  Once before using ASC to clean and one after.  You can see after rebooting my PC that around line 6463 the line  "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\ExpressVPN System Service]" is removed from the Service.txt file in the IObit_Debug_Info After ASC Cleans n reboot.zip file.

Hi PowerPro,

Thanks for your feedback.

Our technicians have found out the cause of the issue and will fix it in the next version of ASC 15.6 which will be out soon in early September.

Currently, please do not select the item Registry Clean under Care tab and under AutoCare module in Settings when you do a scan and fix.

Should you encounter any other issues or have any questions about our products, please just let us know.

Have a nice day~

Hello,

Thanks for replying and sorry for late reply.  Been super busy.  After I ran ASC, I made a back up of my Registry with the lines it took out and run it once I run ASC so it puts those lines back.  Was a tedious process but I thought it might take you all a long time to find and/or fix it so I did it.  Thanks again and have a great Labor Day weekend!
