Mike-Try the Restore Center in ASC-Go with the "undo changes" option-you may have to use more than one of those restore points depending on when this happened.If this works out,be sure you look at the proposed changes/fixes or repairs in the results of your next scan before you "repair" or delete anything.A reference to "context menu" or something along those lines is what you're looking for.

Just to add a fix to this thread if anyone else has the problem...

To recover the Recent Items folder and its applicable "Clear Recent Items List" option, follow these steps:

 

1. Click Start, type “%AppData%\Microsoft\Windows” and press {ENTER}

 

2. Right-click the folder named Recent, and choose Delete. Click Yes when prompted.

 

3. Type the command “shell:recent” in Start – Search box, and press {ENTER}

 

4. Logoff the user account and login again.

 

You'll see the "Recent Items" and right clickable "Clear Recent Items List" option back.
