Your Question relates to ASC.

You seem to be referring to the Auto Optimizer in the Internet Booster of ASC.

All in All, it's a good question.

Does the Optimizer optimize the User's hand shake to the real world?

or,

Does it optimize just it's own local network connections?

or,

Both?

I've tried lots of different optimization bit rates....

As far as the connection thru the Verizon DSL line is concerned, I can't confirm much - if any affect.

I don't have a local network - so, there's no way to corroborate anything is happening there.

The good news is that it does appear to make things worse. :lol:
