ASC change IE settings?

Is there anything that ASC would change on my system or in the IE config to have sites like youtube and twitter to keep telling me to upgrade my browser to IE8 even though I have the lastest IE8?

 

Not sure when it started but could have been when I installed ASC.

 

Please no "get a real browser" comments.

Possibly.Try restoring any fixes that ASC has made from the Restore Center.Perhaps back to the oldest one depending on how many times you've run scan and repair.The System Optimization scan usually makes several internet connection adjustments.Not using IE8 precludes me from more specific advice.Comments withheld at your request http://smileys.on-my-web.com/repository/Firefox/firefox-angel.gif

I don't think that it is because of ASC.

 

Using Three different OSs with IE8 + ASC (XP, Vista, Windows7), and non of them behaves like that
