Security Defense scan stall

When scanning the compouter for Security defense AWC scans abut half the files and then will go no further. The CPU is not overloaded working at 1 -5 % so how can this be rectified.

you can try installing and re installing. or download the newest version. not sure which on you have.

Iobit Security 360 Stalls During Scan

 

It just doesn't work -- I wish you would bring back the earlier version -- it worked! The last two versions (1.40, 1.41) have bugs -- this last one STALLS during Security check.

try a clean uninstall/reinstall...uninstall the program, then run BitRemover to clean up left overs http://www.t-tools.nl/bitremoveren.php

Pyrath gives excellent advice here on this. A clean install is in order. You can link to the thread "Usage of Iobit products" in my signature for this. Make sure to manually delete the program file before re-installing. If you need step by step instructions... I can provide, but it is in the Usage thread.
