if it is not a mistake your download speed ADSL 100 Mbps is one of the highest available but your RAM is very small and i suppose your CPU clock-speed.

 

I have dual-core CPU 1.7 Mhz and 2Gb RAM and ADSL 1000 Kbps and i encounter some problems but not very serious.

 

The download speed depends on many factors- speed of server, traffic, distance.....

3 hard drives total 1.7 terry bits

and a external brand new 1.2 terry bit drive...

 

This is my Net PC ,in most use as its steady and Fairly fast..very stable...

wonder what others are Using? Most of the Time on the net

HD 24" Samsung monitor

one SATA II drive with vista ultimate 32bit

one IDE Hdd with backups on

MSI x58 Platinum Motherbord

no floppy no socket on M/Board

SATA DVD DL Writer

8mbps broadband [actual speed just over 7mbps]

 

got a free w7 voucher with the oem vista so in nov will be on windows 7 ultimate

 

[had a learning curve building new pc from prev pc which I had before running single core 630 processor, prior to burn out]
