Ok to run both IObit free AND Norton IS 2009?

Hi,

 

Will the proactive anti-malware scanners in IOBit conflict with Norton Internet Security 2009 antispyware scanner?

 

I know you can run some programs at the same time, like Avira and Malwarebytes without a conflict & I'm hoping that IOBit runs well along side of Norton Internet Security 2009 antispyware scanner.

Should be OK.

 

You should be just fine. Encourage you to consider software besides Norton though.

Have you run this or seen test results? I'm just curious as to how we figure these things out ...

 

Is the suggestion to look at something more than the NIS 2009 suite based on the performance or ability to prevent virus and/or malware? I already own it, so would prefer to keep it but am open to switching if I knew a bit more about your recommendation to use another program.
