i would like to test my internet speed in mbps,last week i test my internet speed here http://www.ip-details.com/internet-speed-test/ , it shown in kbps i need the right website to test in mbps,please let me know if there is anything.

Hi LUAP

Connection speed depends on several factors, - you might have measured it during much traffic on the net, - your server can have gotten more customers, - or a fair number of other things - your own setup, the amount of spyware - and the list goes on.

So it is hard to answer that question specifically for anyone else but yourself and possibly support personnel from your server.

press "starta mätning" (start meassuring) and you will get down and up speed in megabit. That the site is in swedish will probably not matter.

Hello guys,

 

All these test sites will give you relative broadband speeds depending to that specific time's conditions, without any latency if you are close to those servers. (Especially if you have dynamic IPs.)

 

If you want to optimize the Internet connection, you should know the allowable maximum download speed, which can be obtained from your ISP. Most probably, it would write in the aggrement you have done with them.
