I/O activity during Automatic Defrag

While running Automatic Defrag the I/O activity display keeps showing an activity on 2-16 %, - even after a comprehensive manual defrag ????

 

Can I believe in that? - And if so, - why is it so?

For what I can tell the activity measured by ISD is the I/O activity caused by all running processes so not that of ISD alone.

I/O activity is influenced by your settings. You might have some programs that check for updates every 2 minutes, and this could easily explain the difference between 2 % and 16 % I think.
