SmartRAM - excellent product

Any chance of it as a stand alone install instead of as part of ASC, gamebooster used to be part of ASC in the early days if im not mistaken and these two fantastic tools work well together side by side. they are perfect for gamers. So it would be nice if Game booster & SmartRAM came as a gamers battle pack or something.

ASC is still good and I use it occasionally but dont want it hoggin resources while im online mashing it up.

Smart RAM used to be available as a stand alone install and then it was gone, banished to be part of ASC. the page i downloaded it from is currently under construction, do you plan to release an updated version as a stand alone or is it to be only available with ASC? either way i will still use it just not have ASC running in the background..

many thanks

Hi wave4mer

C:\Program Files\IObit\Advanced SystemCare 3 and then sup_smartRam

Will start the application. A shortcut to this file can be placed on your desktop for example.

Another way could be to start it from ASC and then close ASC - the SmartRam will still run.

Cheers

thank you for your response, I have done that just curious if it is planned to be stand alone install again.

Also slightly off topic, I have just done a clean install of win 7x64 pro and it found over 8900 security problems, can this be right or is this the immunisation process of possible active X and malware installing through the browser.

and the running process list has an erroneous entry it says I have a startup item called s unknown process. also another called m. these are highlighted in RED below I have checked msconfig and there is no startup entry called s or m.is this also right ? printout of running processes:

wave4mer- On my computer Smart RAM is set to start with Windows independantly of ASC 3 and its icon runs in the System Tray for the entire session so that I can use it whenever it is needed and it does a superb job...
