Hello

First of all a wonderfull product here

very welldone an many thanks on providing such a great free product

My question is:

Is it save to use smartdefrag on windows 2000 thats running on a RAID 5 ?

Some users here have experience with smartdefrag in combination with RAID ?

Can you run the Windows defrag without errors?

The fact that a volume is raid should have nothing to do with how a defragger does it's job.

I have used Smart Defrag on w2003 64 bit WSS without issue. I have also used it with XP 64, Vista 64 and right now W7 U RC1 which is 64 bit as well. It seems to be working fine. I have a RAID 1 array on a Lenova W700. A pair of 7.2K RPM 160 Gig drives.
