Hi DaGoose,

Did you read USAGE of IOBIT PRODUCTS thread in Lounge section?

You can choose what IS360 to clean.

Click Tools , click Privacy Sweep , uncheck the checkboxes you don't want IS360 to clean. You can choose the cookies you want to keep, if you click Options and Cookies tab, and put the cookies you want to "Cookies to Keep" part.

This is not madness, and it is part of the function of IS360 to get rid of the nasty cookies, your IE traces, your privacy, etc..

Cheers.

Okie's answer is totally correct: Your IE history and cookies are a potential hazard for your privacy. Loads of information can be gleaned from this and are always cleaned by every program that tries to protect your privacy (unless you decide to exclude some of them).

Suppose, for the sake of argument, that you are regularly visiting pron-sites, gambling sites, etc. Would you like that others could simply discover that information on your computer? I think you wouldn't.
