"Access Violation"

I've started getting the following message when returning to the main IObit Security 360 screen, having cleaned stuff detected by PC Security Analysis (and junk files):

"Exception EAccessViolation in module FileSweep.dll at 00004E44.

"Access violation at address 02604E44 in module 'FileSweep.dll'. Read of address 0118D574."

Is this anything to worry about? - If so, what can I do about it?

Privacy Sweep ?

Welcome to the forum GrinnerLeaf

When you say junk files do you mean the files reported in Privacy Sweep ?

If yes, could you please list what Privacy sweep wants to fix.

If PC Security Analysis is reporting Security Holes please have a look at This Thread and see if those Security Holes are being listed in your scan results.

If you are getting the same Security Holes reported I suggest you disregard them until IObit checks them.

Note: When I say disregard I mean do not click the Ignore button or the Fix button, just exit the screen without doing anything.

All the best, woz of oz

There could be a permission problem, where a file being protected by system or a security software.

So, it is good advice of wozofoz to check the files Privacy Sweep is trying to delete.

Cheers.
