DIY Computer Repair.

Can anyone recommend a good DIY home computer repair guide which I can download? Basic fault finding, BIOS beeps and general tips etc. Free if possible. I have checked quite a few online, but haven't found one to suit me, as yet. I was a TV technician (repairing TV sets) for over thirty years, but retired twenty-five years ago.
