How eazy is it to track Email ? Do u want to know?

 

Finding the IP address of an email sender in GMail, Yahoo Mail,

This will not work if the sender uses anonymous proxy servers

 

Open the mail, Display the email headers, beside Reply. Select Show Orginal.

Look for Received: from followed by the IP address between square brackets [ ].

looks like this = Received: from license.avira.com (license.avira.com [80.190.154.12])

 

If you find more than one Received: from patterns, select the last one

Go online to Whois By IP Address in put ip address

 

inetnum: 80.190.154.0 - 80.190.154.255

netname: AVIRA-IPX-NET-DE

descr: Avira GmbH

A WHOIS result only shows your ISP's coordinates ; nothing about "you", other than your email address.

 

Just try it with your IP ;-)
