WinXP startup time still takes more than 1 minute

I'm using the latest version of ASC Pro. After system repair, the startup time (i.e. the time between showing Windows XP startup logo & login screen) of Windows XP still takes more than 1 minute. How can the startup time be reduced?

 

Notebook computer: Pentium M 1.6Ghz, 1.5GB DDR1 RAM, 60GB IDE HDD

Hi daemongmong

have you tried to use the startup manager in the utilities?

You may have a lot of unnecessary items there.

Just untick those you don't need - don't delete them in case you need them later - and click apply and then ok.
