Specificly with browsers, it is always safer to install the latest version, as all the browser software companies are trying to fill in the holes against hackers.

yes that's right..like every thing is nowadays.

but if its not broken ,why fix it.?

the reason I asked as some add in's, if not compatible with a update get removed.that I disapprove of..that's why I asked.

plus its needs re tweaking.or at least checked extra work this takes time.or check hidden links that may of been added.as any reference to Google I remove

or yahoo,and the like .
