Bug or NOT??

It fixed my problem on ASC icon just staying on the taskbar..

but it has a problem again.. i dunno if it is a BUG..:???:

ASC.exe process is still running even though i already closed it..

i hate this problem because it eats my memory..:sad:

 

BTW: first one to post again this kind of problem..

Uncheck "Minimize to system tray"

if you already have unchecked it i don't know what to do. (works fine for me)

 

*ASCTray.exe starts if you have selected Execute at windows startup

*ASC.exe Starts when you open up Advanced systemCare

Hi jaring0002,

 

You have to exit ASC from Sistem Tray icon by right clicking on the system tray icon.

 

Beeing in sistem tray, ASC is active and running.

 

Please follow the suggestions of member Late if you want it to be closed when you exit it by (X) on the top right of GUI.

 

BTW, please attach smaller sized images (by pixels and by file size), as it (+2.5 MB by file size) uses very high server band.

I checked the "minimize to system tray..

 

and i exit it on the (X) button on the upper right corner of GUI..

 

But still the process remains...(ASC.exe)

 

i knew that if i press the (X) button the GUI will exit and the process will be terminated.. only ASCtray.exe will appear on the processes of ASC..:sad:

What is it you want to achieve?

In Usage of IObit Products it is all explained.

If you choose that the program should start up with Windows - it will do so. And perform those automatic functions that you choose when you configure your settings.

If you choose to have it present in the system tray - it will be present there.

If you choose to have tool tips present there too, you will get information there from time to time of what the program is doing now (automatic functions for example)

I don't like it when i close asc by pressing the (X) button, it still use the resources for the GUI of ASC..

ASC.exe starts when i open up ASC... but far as i know on other versions, when ASC is close ASC.exe will close too..
