Cannot get Advanced Systecare to start a scan

A few days ago, my paid version of Advanced Systecare stopped scanning. I click the Care button, and it just sits there. Same thing if I click on the "support" or "options" tabs in the top right. The "restore" tab works fine. Also, the settings tab under "Maintain Windows" and "Diagnose System" won't work. Any ideas?

Please check your power connection and turn it on - this sounds as if this is the most probable cause. :-)
