Hi sunny,

It is not Beta and it is the FINAL version, please clean your cache, I have downloaded from the top 3rd link and it doesn't say anything about Beta.

It is the same sub version 4.0.0.163 and same setup file (without Beta wording in setup though) as in the third link in Advanced SystemCare 4 βeta 3.0 available! thread starter.

Cheers.

I was not part of the beta testing, so i switched from 3.8 to 4.0 final. All i can say is WOW

The new Advanced SystemCare 4 is a super awesome product. Clean interface with lots of skins, very useful tools and deep care done a great job on my notebook.

IObit team done it again. They gave us a very good product. Keep up the good work!

Great news, however when I downloaded and installed the new version it would NOT accept my license which had 100 days left.

It was a give away that I had received months ago and that may be the why it will not work.

Guess I will have to wait on this version 4 until my current key expires.

Any ideas as to if I can still use this key for the 100 days?

Thanks for any thoughts on this.

run all the scans all works fine, the about shows correct version. but the opening screen shows beta bottom left cornor, just needs a tidy up by iobit.

great software

I'm guessing it's still in beta, or the home page ad wouldn't say "ASC 4 is Coming"?

jakt, it is not Beta and it is the final release (out of beta). Home page always changed after a while.

All the Betas had exe file versions as 0.4.x.xxx and this one is 4.0.0.163.

sunny staines & masterblaster, guys I can not repeat your cases, can you show me in a screenshot where is that Beta written?

Cheers.

Thanks sunny.

It was the LatestNews.ini content in Beta version, and it is always changing in time (live) when ASC connects to web automatically.

So, I understand that at the beginning, they have not changed that Latestnews.ini file.

BTW, just for the fun of it, you can change the content and the image file with your avatar file there to see your avatar and what you like on the GUI.

If you change the properties of the ini file to read only, it will stay there but ASC may give an error but you can ignore the error and continue, no harm is done.

See the attached image.

The Beta you have seen was the imagenews.png file in LatestNews folder at that time, it is attached below too.

You have to save the print screen as a .jpg image by Paint to your PC, then attach that file to the post and you can also use http://forums.iobit.com/images/editor/insertimage.gif to insert the attachment image by entering the address of the attachment to the address place of http://forums.iobit.com/images/editor/insertimage.gif.

For example: If you right click on the attached Beta image, the URL address is http://forums.iobit.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=7491&stc=1&d=1303854396, and when you paste that in the address space when you click http://forums.iobit.com/images/editor/insertimage.gif on top, it will be seen as http://forums.iobit.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=7491&stc=1&d=1303854396.

If you want to paste the full image of an attachment thumbnail as ASC GUI below, then after attaching, click on the attached image to open it in a browser page and copy the address of the newly opened browser page, click back button and paste that address as the same like Beta above.

http://forums.iobit.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=7490&d=1303853949 is the address for the full ASC GUI image attached below.

Cheers.

I see the ad has been changed. So it is final, sweet.

As for the beta image, I'm guessing this will be updated with new images?

My question is, what is the max pixel dimension for that image space?

Hi jakt,

The imagenews.png image and the other content of LatestNews.ini in the LatestNews folder changes whenever IObit decides to change it. ASC gets them automatically when connected to the web and changes the current ones.

The current image is: http://forums.iobit.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=7492&stc=1&d=1303862927

When you put a larger or smaller sized image there, it is automatically reduced/increased to max. 64x64 pixels regardless of the shape and size of the image transparent parts included. (example: WXxYZ rectangular => 64x64 square)

BTW, have you noticed the 3-D effect on the edges of the main GUI in my previous post? Same modification looks great in Black skin.

Cheers.
