Disk Scan Error.

After a Deep Care scan with ASC4 the Disk Scan found this one Error. Is this anything sinister?

English (New Zealand)

Errors found. Advanced SystemCare cannot continue in read-only mode.

Hi Ted,

 

That is not sinister and indexing of the file was corrupted and I would advise to use command prompt chkdsk /F as an administrator, and restart the PC, let the checkdisk finish, most probably next scan will be clean on that part.

Thank you for your reply.

When I booted up my PC this morning it did a disk check before loading Windows so ASC 4 must have authorised this for me. Could this be a forerunner of future HDD problems for me?

Hi Ted,

 

I expected ASC4 to do that thanks to the default procedure.

 

It is not related to the physical health of HDD, and a very common error which can be seen in every PC in time. Watch for I/O & memory errors if you expect a problem from HDD.
