False Positive!!!

Recommended Posts

I am reporting a false positive that keeps coming up on my computer. It is "NPSFull.exe" It is the Samsung New PC Studio software for connecting a Samsung cell phone to your computer. It comes up as a Trojan Backdoor. I am getting tired of it coming up! Especially since it is the ONLY thing that comes up when I run the scan!!! IObit Malware Fighter needs to have an option to be able to tell it that a file is OK, like other scanning software does. That way it will stop reporting the same file over and over again!!! :-x

Hi djstorm2008

Thanks for your feedback.

Firstly, after scanning, please save a report of the scanning result and send to us.

Secondly, you can upload or send us your suspicious file, and then we can further investigate it. At the same time, you can upload your suspicious file to http://www.virustotal.com for analyzing, and post your analysis report.

We are looking forward to your reply.

Hi djstorm2008, welcome to IObit Forum!

Please follow the procedure by hxin. (Posting the report here in this thread is sufficient.)

Also you can put NPSFull.exe in the Ignore List until it is investigated by IObit, so IMF will not find it next time unless you delete it from the ignore list.

Cheers.
