Cannot install ASC 5

I went to the cnet site and clicked on the download button. In chrome, the file downloaded and when finished, I clicked on the button to install; however, nothing happens, absolutely nothing--no error messages, no freezing, nothing. I've tried installing many times to no avail. Any ideas what might be wrong?

Hi, CNET wraps most of its listed software in its own download manager, that is basically a small executable that starts and manages the download from CNET servers.....

 

Or you can go to the thread Advanced SystemCare 5 is Updated (5.0.0.158) and follow the link to download from MajorGeeks.

Try launching that download, it worked for me (using FireFox) :smile:
