Hi CharnK,
Thanks for your feedback. To prevent Bluetooth Support Service from being switched to manual status, please do not tick item Turn on Turbo Boost at Windows Startup in the last step when you configure Turbo Boost.
Have a nice day!
Hi Cicely,
Are you implying that Turbo Boost should not be turned on each time Windows starts? I have ticked that item, and ever since I changed Bluetooth Service back to automatic, I have had no more issue with the Bluetooth Service again.
By the way, have you got any news regarding why my C: drive on Asus T100 is not recognized as an SSD yet?

To my pleasant surprise, when I uninstalled a program using the built-in uninstaller of the program, the powerful scan of ASC8 popped up subsequently to take care of the left-overs. What a great feature!

Hi Cicely,
As per your suggestion, I have attached IObit_Debug_Info.zip from http://testdemo.iobit.com/InfoHelperV7.exe. I suspect the Bluetooth Support Service was switched from automatic to manual and left as such when I decided to try ASC Power Plan.

:-)Hi Cicely and Eviscerator,
I have no difficulty in setting other icons to always show on the taskbar. The problem is just with this ASC8 icon which keeps reverting back to "show notifications" whenever I restart the machine.
As for the Bluetooth issue, I cannot find this Bluetooth Support Service under both Windows and non-Windows services. When I checked the Services part of the Administrative Tools, I found that this Bluetooth Support Service was left as "manual." After changing this to "automatic", it seems to have solved this problem.
Lastly, I probably feel safer without Disk Optimization until ASC8 recognizes my SSD drive. Maybe Beta2? :-)

Dear Cicely,
I am using Asus T100 which uses SSD for its C: drive. The option to optimize SSD has indeed been greyed out. I have attached "IObit_Debug_Info" as suggested.

There are 2 more issues:
1. No matter how often I want to proudly always show the ASC8 icon on the notification bar, it keeps getting hidden to the status of "show notifications."
2. Ever since I tried the ASC Power Plan, the Bluetooth module of my T100 keeps getting disabled each time I start the computer. Even after I switched back to my own self-created power plan, this Bluetooth problem remains. What may I do to correct this?

I just checked the Disk Optimization part of the General Settings and found out that the option for SSD Optimization was greyed out. Is this intentional?
