defrag vista boot files

Recommended Posts

found this on another site may be useful for our readers.

Open the command prompt with administrative privileges by clicking the Start - All Programs, right-click Command Prompt, and then click Run as Administrator.

Enter defrag C:\ -b ( to defragment files on your C: drive) and then press Enter

You won’t see any output in the command prompt during the defrag process, just a flashing curser.

When it’s finished defragmenting a new line will appear in the command prompt.

Note: You can stop a defrag running from the command prompt at any time by pressing Ctrl+C on your keyboard.

Hi sunny

Very good point

Enoskype wrote about it some time ago in the string "Think about defragmentation", http://forums.iobit.com/showthread.php?p=3965#post3965

But it is absolutely fine to refresh our memories, Thank you!

Cheers
