Is there a change of home page/search engine bundled with smart defrag? If there is, I seem to have missed it. Now, every browser is in a deep state of mess. How do I restore my settings?

Firstly, please complete your system details in the user CP. Without this info it makes it harder for us to assist you.

Also, please give as much info about the issue as possible, such as which browsers are involved, what exactly you did that caused the problem, did you run any other cleaning/optimising software.

 

Smart Defrag, does not change anythig on your pc. It is a defragging tool which just relocates the files on your pc in order to remove gaps and make the file retrieval faster.

Did you do a Boot time Defrag??

 

So, if your browsers are acting up, it may be for another reason.

Do you have ASC on your pc. If so you can open the ASC Rescue Centre and restore your pc to an earlier time when the browsers worked ok.

I think I already found the problem. Somehow I got somethong called Iobit App Toolbar v6.6 into my system, uninstalling this seems to have cleared the issue.
