Will not defrag DR Watson/XP is this normal ?

Recommended Posts

Hi jayjays

If we are talking about SmartDefrag, and you have "do not defragment files larger than" 1 Gb clicked on, then it is quite normal. :-)

Why do you save so many log files from Dr.Watson? Can't you set a much lower upper limit?

Cheers

Hi jayjays-first thing, read through that file-seems a bit large not to contain some errors, but perhaps not, depending on the age and use of your pc. Next thing to do-delete those files-you don't need them-Dr. Watson is Microsoft's antiquated version of "big brother"(been around since the early nineties)Next, don't even waste your time minimizing the file dump size-proceed directly here because you don't need the good Dr. anymore! This is why you have Win Error Reporting Services should you need it.If you're not sure,Google up the Dr.(still a forum topic-believe it or not) (I know I can't)-and you'll see that the good Dr. has been dead in all but the minds of the most steadfast computer geeks-so, free up some space and speed up your stuff :!::-D:!:
