AVG pro Found Worm in ASC toolbar.

Hi I dont really know where to report this so if you could pass this on please.

 

My AVG pro has just found Worm/VB.CGLB in ASC toolbox.

 

AVG has destroyed it, I do not know if I should have reported it but haven't had any of these rotten things for a while as very careful.

 

It worries me as some how it infiltrated ASC which I thought would be the last place they could worm.... their way into.:shock and a bit worried about using ASC again.:-?:-o:shock:

First, please feel assured to use ASC, for it is free of virus.

 

For the situation you mentioned, it should be false positive. To look into it, please take the steps below:

 

1) Please check and make sure that you have the latest ASC v7.0.6 and you can download it from http://download.cnet.com/Advanced-SystemCare/3000-2086_4-10407614.html?tag=rb_content;main

 

2) Please run your AVG pro again. If it still finds Worm in ASC v7 Toolbox. Please send us the related screenshots.
